The Czech Republic, Karlstejn

We took the train to Karlstejn to enjoy the most wonderful castle there. It's a beautiful town to walk around and they even have their own locally brewed beer which we tried after our long stroll.

Karlstejn Castle is a large Gothic castle founded in 1348 by Charles IVHoly Roman Emperor-elect and King of Bohemia. The castle served as a place for safekeeping the Imperial Regalia as well as the Bohemian/Czech crown jewels, holy relics, and other royal treasures that we didn't get to see... where's the trust!

Enjoy the photo's.
