The last stage of a Superb Trip.

We are back safe and sound to our starting point in Bangkok and what a trip it has been.

Our last stops were in Hanoi and an overnight cruise of Halong Bay in Vietnam... and what a marvellous finale it was... spectacular comes to mind. (Think of your first trip to the Rocky Mountains and then imagine a smaller version of them in a calm bay) We got a little shock treatment when we went from 32 degrees to 14 degrees in Hanoi... we had to do a little shopping for warn clothes... and we still have the same size packs!

I finally got Ce into a kayak and she loved it... although I have given her a new name of "the scooper",  because of the amount of water she was scooping up on me:-)

It has truly been a remarkable experience for us both over here and we would highly recommend it to everyone.

We hope you have enjoyed our blog and we would like to thank everyone for sharing their comments.

Take Care

Beach Time.... well that's enough of that... and off we go!

Well, it was our intention of spending some time at the beaches, but as many of you know Ce and I are not much for the beaches so we decided to skip them and head on to things that interest us more.

Tomorrow we have a flight from Nha Trang to Hanoi and we will use that as our base to visit the other areas of Vietnam that we want to take in.

The time we are having here is exceptional, we have had so many wonderful experiences that we could almost write a book, but with the little time we have left we needed to make the most of it by taking a few flights.

Sorry it has to be so short and sweet... and perhaps out of sequence on this blog but we have to be up very early to catch our flight.

Signing off,

All our love
