Greece, we'll be back to discover more!

It was like watching an episode from the Amazing Race getting from Assisi to Rome to catch our flight to Greece. We left Assisi at 9 am and we had to return our car by noon to catch the train at 12:26 am to the Airport... which took us 30 minutes with the express train..we didn't have any buffer built in for the road closures in Rome, which delayed us, and the GPS was having a few tantrums in Assisi as well as the small side roads in Rome. But we made it with minutes to spare, perspiring like two race horses.

Greece was brilliant, lovely scenery, lovely water, and it has knocked off Italy as the best place to eat. The lamb, octopus, and calamari are to die for not to mention their excellent salads. Politically, it is a bit of a mess with public strikes shutting down public transportation almost on a daily basis... they don't care too much for the austerity measures being implemented by the government and are having their voices heard.

As you have probably realized our internet access was not the best in Greece, hopefully it will be good for the rest of our vacation. We are back in Rome right now and we are heading off to Ireland tomorrow where we pick up a rental car in the airport and start of our tour in Northern Ireland.

We have two things to do today visit the vatican and a gallery.

Stay tuned, and pray to the Gods that we get sunny weather in Ireland... Looking forward to meeting our Leprechaun friends once again.

Signing off,

Derm & Ce
